Internet Killed The Video Star
I've been running and working long hours again (meaning no time for new music or new posts). However, while trying to get some rest yesterday by chilling at home with my TV on, I stumbled upon the old video clip of Arcade Fire's Rebellion (Lies) on the post-alternative show at Mad.
Most of you know that I'm a big fan of Arcade Fire (and had the joy of catching them live a couple of years ago...believe it or not they are even better on stage!), so I was quite surprised that I had never seen their clip before. It made me think how much the music video industry has declined since the internet (mp3) has taken off. No-one cares about video clips anymore (besides us fans that make our own videos on YouTube for our favorite tracks). It reminded me of the old "Video Killed the Radio Star" song back when MTV was the king (or queen) of TV. Guess it's now (or some years now to be more precise) of the "Internet Killed the Video Star"..
Καλημέρα! Έχεις δίκιο για τα videoclip. Και οι Arcade Fire μου αρέσουν πολύ!
Μάλλον καλό είναι βέβαια που πέθανε...έκανε και αυτό τον κύκλο του..
